Job summary

United Launch Alliance, Denver-based, seeks a Senior Product Owner for the SLS Centaur Integrated Test Environment (ITE). You will define and prioritize capabilities supporting Flight Software development and Formal Qualification Testing, leading a crossfunctional agile team to deliver real-time vehicle simulations and testing tools.

You will collaborate daily with systems engineering, flight software, and avionics to align features with architecture, oversee requirements, and drive end-to-end

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field from an accredited college or university.
• Experience developing, validating, or supporting RealTime Linux-based systems.
• Experience with timing-critical hardware/software interactions.
• Experience developing real-time simulations.
• Experience authoring, executing, or reviewing IV&V plans.
• Experience developing tools for automated software testing.
• Background in object-oriented design principles.
• Working knowledge of C++ and Python.
• Experience with Git or similar configuration management tools, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and release deployments.
• Experience collaborating across hardware, software, and systems teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication for requirements documentation and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead an agile scrum team, defining product vision, roadmap, and feature priorities for ITE software products.
• Develop clear, testable, system-aligned software requirements reflecting the vehicle system.
• Ensure features fit within the system architecture by coordinating with ITE architects and engineers.
• Oversee requirement decomposition, traceability, acceptance criteria, and validation planning.
• Collaborate with system owners to ensure software behaviors and data flows match the modeled systems.
• Partner with software developers to ensure implementation meets requirements.
• Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release prioritization balancing debt and mission need.
• Review verification results, user acceptance tests, and IV&V findings for compliance.
• Drive cross-team coordination for dependencies across FSW, avionics, and ITE.
• Support documentation updates, configuration management, and ITAR/standards compliance.
