Job summary

Georgia System Operations Corporation (GSOC) is seeking a Senior IT Vendor Management Analyst III-V to support Shared Services IT across GSOC, OPC, and GTC. This hands-on role owns the lifecycle of technology vendors, software licenses, renewals, cost allocation, and chargeback reporting while supporting ITIL/ITSM, controls, and audits.

Candidates may be considered at Level III, IV, or V based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Finance, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• IT vendor management, technology sourcing, IT procurement, software asset management, IT controls, or related areas.
• Knowledge of software licensing, entitlements, contract terms, renewals, and vendor commitments.
• Experience negotiating with technology vendors or supporting bids, renewals, and commercial decisions.
• Analytical experience with spend, cost allocation, chargebacks, budgeting, forecasting, or invoicing.
• Strong organization, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and mature the IT vendor management program including onboarding, performance reviews, and risk coordination.
• Serve as relationship owner for software publishers, hardware manufacturers, and service providers.
• Maintain a repository of IT agreements and renewal calendar with terms and escalations.
• Review license terms, renewal quotes, entitlements, utilization, and risks with Legal, Procurement, IT asset mgmt.
• Coordinate software deployment reconciliation, true-ups, audits, and publisher reviews.
• Plan and support RFPs, competitive bids, supplier evaluations, and onboarding.
• Maintain cost-allocation and chargeback methods; validate invoices and support budgets/FinOps.
