Job summary

PBG is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead the consolidation of L1 IT support into a unified MSP-driven Service Desk. You will direct multi-phase advisory work, establish governance, and brief executive leadership on findings and strategic choices.

The role requires managing cross-functional teams, coordinating with COR/TPOC, and ensuring high-quality deliverables while guiding the Customer through transformation. Hybrid work in DC area.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of program/project management experience.
• Three (3) years managing IT service transformation or MSP transition projects.
• Experience managing multi-phase consulting engagements.
• Demonstrated experience with Federal or financial services institutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience with change management in complex organizations.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent project management certification.
• S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as PBG’s program lead for the task order, directing work across all phases and coordinating with the COR and TPOC.
• Conduct the project kickoff with Customer IT leadership and key stakeholders to confirm scope, timeline, and constraints.
• Establish project governance, including steering committees and RACI, with clear escalation paths.
• Develop and maintain PM artifacts: Charter, Plan, Stakeholder Analysis, Risk & Issue Log, WBS, milestones, and change control.
