Job summary

City of Fort Collins is seeking a skilled IT Senior Technician to join our Information Technology team. The role focuses on advanced end-user support, hardware and software installations, and on-site troubleshooting across Apple and PC devices, while maintaining ITIL-aligned practices.

You will deploy, configure, and update software applications, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with vendors to ensure timely support.

Qualifications

• Four years of related IT support experience.
• Experience supporting Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS.
• Ability to lead high-priority incidents.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior escalation point for complex incidents.
• Lead resolution efforts coordinating with IT teams.
• Perform expert-level troubleshooting across hardware and software.
• Design advanced troubleshooting workflows.
• Mentor junior technicians and provide training.
• Manage after-hours on-call rotations.
