Job summary

Evolv Technologies Inc. in Waltham, Massachusetts, is seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer to evaluate, deploy, and maintain our IT infrastructure and cybersecurity tooling. You’ll help mature IT operations to support business growth while reducing risk.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, mentor junior staff, and drive compliant, scalable solutions across cloud, identity, and endpoint management in a hybrid environment with three on-site days per week.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and managing enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Experience supporting SOC 2, ISO 27001 compliance and audit readiness.
• Ability to build trusted partnerships with stakeholders and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure including network, server, cloud, and end-user computing environments.
• Manage Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, SharePoint).
• Administer Okta/Entra ID with lifecycle, CA policies, and MFA.
• Manage network security devices (firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN).
• Configure AWS and Azure environments with security best practices and cost awareness.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to deliver scalable tech solutions.
