Job summary

Evolv Technology in Waltham, MA is seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer to evaluate, deploy, manage, and secure our IT infrastructure and cybersecurity tooling. You will be the technical engine behind a fast-growing company—delivering scalable solutions that reduce risk and enable innovation while keeping operations compliant.

This role reports to the Senior Director of Cybersecurity & Technology and partners with stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and managing enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and M365.
• Knowledge of security controls (SOC 2, NIST CSF) and audits.
• Ability to mentor IT staff and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure across network, servers, cloud and endpoints.
• Manage Microsoft 365, Intune/Jamf, Okta/Entra ID, and identity lifecycle.
• Administer and secure networks (Palo Alto, Cisco Meraki) and VPN/ZTNA.
• Lead compliance activities and support audits.
• Mentor junior IT staff and document runbooks.
