Job summary

Evolv Technologies Holdings, Inc. in Waltham, MA, is seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer to design, deploy, and manage our IT infrastructure and cybersecurity tooling. You will help reduce risk while enabling rapid innovation across cloud, identity, and endpoint platforms.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior staff, and drive security maturity and compliance readiness. This is a hands-on, senior IC role focused on scalable, secure systems and automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT infrastructure and security operations.
• Experience with cloud (AWS/Azure) and identity platforms.
• Strong knowledge of endpoint management and network security.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure including network, server, cloud, and endpoints.
• Manage Microsoft 365 suite including Teams and SharePoint.
• Administer and optimize Okta/Entra ID with MFA and CA policies.
• Manage network infrastructure (firewalls, switching, SD-WAN, VPN).
• Administer and optimize AWS and Azure environments focusing on security and cost.
• Configure and maintain SaaS platforms and enterprise tooling.
• Provide escalation support and mentor junior IT staff.
• Document changes and maintain runbooks and architecture docs.
