WOOD Federal Solutions in Laurel, Maryland is seeking a highly skilled IT systems administrator with TS/SCI clearance to support, troubleshoot, and maintain complex IT environments. The role covers server, storage, network, and virtualization management across Linux, UNIX, and Windows platforms, with emphasis on reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required and ten (10) years' experience as a SA.
• Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Must have SQL and Active Directory experience
• Experience with MIM and Majestic is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
• Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.
• Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
• Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems.
• Configure and manage Linux, UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components.
• Build, configure, monitor and maintain virtual environments.
• Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
