Job summary

Joerns Healthcare is seeking a versatile IT Systems Administrator to join our technology team in a hybrid role. You will oversee network administration, end-user support, and systems analysis to support a mid-size organization.

You’ll engage with stakeholders, contribute to IT planning, and drive systems improvements, ensuring reliable infrastructure and effective service delivery across multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
• 5-7 years of combined experience in IT support, network administration, and/or systems analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, VoIP systems, AWS architecture, and Microsoft 365 administration.

Responsibilities

• Network Administration: Maintain, monitor, and optimize the organization’s network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless access points.
• Technical Support & Helpdesk: Serve as the primary point of contact for employees with hardware, software, or connectivity issues; triage and resolve tickets within SLAs; image, deploy, and decommission desktops and devices.
• Systems Analysis: Evaluate existing business systems and workflows; gather requirements; research, recommend, and implement software, integrations, and upgrades.
