Job summary

The City College of New York (CCNY) Office of Information Technology seeks a Senior Manager to lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of enterprise applications supporting college operations. You will provide technical leadership, establish standards, and guide development staff across IT units.

You will collaborate with PMO, Networking, IT Operations, and Business Services to align with institutional priorities, and may act as lead in the Director's absence.

Qualifications

• Seven years of application development experience.
• Experience with CSS3, HTML5, XML, JSON, DHTML, AJAX, jQuery.
• Working knowledge of Java, ASP, PHP, Python/Pandas, and Transact-SQL.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in planning, design, and implementation of application systems, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards.
• Design and develop features using PHP, Java, JavaScript, Python/Pandas, and Transact-SQL.
• Develop automation and data processing scripts using Python and Pandas for ETL, integrations, and reporting.
• Deploy ETL plans for campus data to support systems and projects.
• Write efficient stored procedures and manage SQL Server transactions.
• Coordinate development activities and lead junior team members.
