Job summary

Cadence is a clinical AI company automating chronic disease care. We’re hiring a Senior IT Systems Engineer to build and operate the identity, endpoint, and SaaS infrastructure that supports Cadence’s clinical and operational teams.

You’ll use code, APIs, and AI-powered automation to make our systems more secure, reliable, and scalable as we grow. This is a hands‑on engineering role with ownership from design through deployment and ongoing operation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT systems engineering or technical operations with automation focus.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and LLMs in workflows.
• Proficient in Python or TypeScript with Git workflows.
• Experience administering SaaS platforms and building REST APIs/integrations.
• Strong identity and access management knowledge (Okta, SAML, SCIM, OIDC).
• Experience managing macOS/iOS fleets with MDM tools.
• Solid networking and security fundamentals and audit readiness exposure.

Responsibilities

• Design and own automation and API-driven integrations across SaaS platforms.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve workflows with proper permissions and reviews.
• Scale identity lifecycle automation from onboarding to offboarding, incl. Salesforce access.
• Manage device enrollment, deployment, patching, and compliance for macOS/iOS.
• Collaborate with Security to strengthen endpoint protections and automate controls.
• Maintain systems with version control, testing, monitoring, and IaC documentation.
• Own complex projects and drive root-cause analysis through automation.
