Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 8 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience designing and maintaining enterprise cybersecurity systems in higher education or similar contexts.
• Ability to translate complex technical risks into practical, secure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Hybrid role blending remote work with on-site presence as needed.
• Plan, implement, and maintain security measures across university infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, DLP, and vulnerability management platforms.
• Monitor, identify, and mitigate security risks and lead technical response during incidents.
• Engineer and manage identity and access management services (directory, SSO, MFA, PAM).
• Develop and maintain security architecture diagrams, runbooks, and SOPs.
• Mentor colleagues and serve as a technical resource for IT security projects.
