Job summary

CACI International Inc in Chantilly, VA seeks a Systems Architect - IT (Technical Lead) to serve as the primary technical authority for system architecture across a large-scale distributed enterprise. You will define IT architectures for multiple platforms, operating systems, and applications with emphasis on AWS Cloud Services (C2S/C2E) and will lead architecture governance efforts.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT-related discipline.
• 10+ years of demonstrated experience as a technical expert in enterprise IT architecture and systems design.
• 8+ years of current experience designing and implementing architectures for large-scale enterprise IT environments (>10,000 users).
• Experience with IT operations centers and AWS Cloud Services (C2S/C2E).
• Ability to implement strategic goals and operational plans for technical areas.

Responsibilities

• Function as the top technical expert for enterprise IT system architecture supporting operational service delivery.
• Design and define IT system architecture across multiple platforms, OSs, and applications with emphasis on AWS Cloud Services (C2S/C2E).
• Analyze system needs, development, and processes to solve business problems with technology.
• Determine system specifications, inputs/outputs, and security maintenance.
• Coordinate design of subsystems and integration across a large-scale distributed enterprise IT environment (>10,000 users).
• Develop and document the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards.
• Assist in architecture governance process development and management.
• Provide technical leadership to operations teams and remove obstacles to performance.
• Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and best practices.
