Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS, Engineering, or IT-related discipline.
• 10+ years of demonstrated experience as a technical expert in enterprise IT architecture and systems design.
• 8+ years of experience designing architectures for large-scale enterprise IT environments (>10,000 users).
• Experience in IT operations centers and AWS Cloud Services (C2S/C2E).
• Ability to implement strategic goals and establish operational plans for technical areas.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Function as the top technical expert for enterprise IT system architecture supporting operational service delivery.
• Design and define IT system architecture for integration of multiple platforms, operating systems, and applications across the enterprise, with emphasis on AWS Cloud Services (C2S/C2E).
• Analyze system needs, system development, systems process analysis, design, and re-engineering to solve business problems with technology.
• Coordinate design of subsystems and integration of total system across the large-scale, distributed enterprise IT environment (>10,000 users).
• Identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies in operational services.
• Develop and document the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards in accordance with service level agreements.
• Assist in the development and management of an architecture governance process.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to operations teams, removing technical obstacles to superior performance.
• Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and integrate best practices that will have impact on functional results.
• Communicate with executive leadership regarding technical architecture strategy and implementation.
• Foster collaborative communication with all internal and external technical partners including operations centers and the enterprise service center.
