Job summary

CAC I International is seeking a Systems Architect - IT (Technical Lead) in the Chantilly, VA area. The role serves as the top technical expert for enterprise IT architecture and leads architecture-related processes for the program.

As an SME-level individual contributor, you will design and implement IT architectures across platforms and operating systems, with emphasis on AWS Cloud Services (C2S/C2E), guiding technical standards and operations teams.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT-related discipline.
10+ years as technical expert in enterprise IT architecture and systems design.
8+ years designing architectures for large-scale enterprise IT environments (>10,000 users).
Experience with AWS Cloud Services (C2S/C2E).
Proven ability to implement strategic goals and operational plans for technical areas.
Experience developing innovative technical solutions through best practices.

Responsibilities

Function as the top technical expert for enterprise IT system architecture.
Design and define IT system architecture for integration across platforms and OSes with emphasis on AWS.
Analyze system needs, development, and processes to solve business problems with technology.
Determine system specs, inputs/outputs, and security maintenance.
Coordinate design of subsystems and total system integration for a large-scale enterprise.
Identify and resolve deficiencies in operational services.
Develop and document framework for integration and changes to technical standards.
Assist in architecture governance processes.
Provide technical leadership to operations teams and remove obstacles.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices.
