Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking an IT Systems Analyst Advisor to join our team, focusing on translating complex business needs into scalable technical specifications and system requirements. This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration across Product, Architecture, Development, QA, and Operations in a hybrid/telecommuter environment.

You will define interfaces, data models, and integration points, ensure traceability to business goals, and guide backlog readiness with senior technical leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IS/CS/Engineering preferred.
• Ten years of related experience or equivalent.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Experience with system integrations and data flows.
• Experience in agile or hybrid delivery environments preferred.
• Experience in regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads analysis and translation of requirements into system specifications.
• Creates and reviews detailed technical specifications for implementations.
• Defines processing logic, validations, and system behaviour for enterprise use cases.
• Ensures traceability between requirements, design and delivery.
• Advises on solution architecture and design decisions.
• Provides technical guidance to support backlog readiness and refinement.
• Leads planning and design discussions across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Evaluates complexity, dependencies, risks, and trade-offs.
• Ensures testing aligns with standards and enterprise practices.
• Produces and governs high-quality documentation.
