Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking an experienced System Administrator II to oversee all aspects of systems administration, including servers, applications, databases, SAN/NAS, and UPS systems. You will implement, configure, monitor, secure, and optimize the infrastructure while coordinating with team members and management.

The role requires strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, and networking.

Qualifications

• Experience creating Microsoft 365 and Cloud Infrastructure solutions (Azure AD/Entra ID).
• Experience managing Active Directory (GPOs, user/group management, permissions).
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong background in Exchange messaging system.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN configurations, Cisco routers & switches, firewalls and wireless tech.

Responsibilities

• Manage servers, applications, databases, SAN/NAS environments, and UPS systems.
• Develop and maintain system documentation and procedures.
• Follow Change Management practices and participate in on-call rotation.
• Install and maintain servers and operating systems; monitor resources and plan capacity.
• Provide leadership and advise on security-related topics.
• Perform security risk assessments and vulnerability testing.
• Research, test, and evaluate vendor hardware/software products.
• Keep current with IT security protocols and regulations.
