Job summary

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. is seeking an IT Support Specialist III to handle advanced end-user issues and lead small IT initiatives. The role requires strong troubleshooting, enterprise Windows 11 deployment, and coordination of tickets with Tier I/II teams.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree with 4–6 years of related experience or equivalent certifications, plus knowledge of VPN, mobile devices, and printers. Onsite, with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 4–6 years of related experience; or certifications with at least 4 years related experience.
• Proven hardware and software experience: Windows 11, Office 365, Adobe products, VPN, smartphones, printers/MFPs.
• Networking experience: wired/wireless troubleshooting and basic VPN connectivity issues.
• Current CompTIA A+ or Security+ certification, and/or ITIL v4 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, phones, VPN, printers, and network connectivity.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain Windows 11 desktops/laptops in an enterprise environment.
• Coordinate and resolve tickets, calls, and walk-up requests.
• Escalate to Tier I/II; resolve high-impact incidents.
• Provide after-hours support for senior leadership when needed.
