Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• 11-15 years of experience providing technical support for computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to computer system users on a variety of issues.
• Identify, research, and resolve technical problems.
• Respond to telephone calls, emails, and personnel requests for technical support.
• Document, track, and monitor the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
• Assist in coordinating changes, upgrades, and new products to ensure systems operate correctly.
• Give guidance on the use of hardware and software, including OS, printing, word processing, and email.
• Read manuals and publications; diagnose and repair by replacing parts and making adjustments.
• Communicate status updates and manage time spent on all activities.
