Job summary

RRD is seeking a Sr. IT Support Specialist in Kansas City, MO to install, maintain, and repair client computer equipment including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. The role requires hands-on hardware troubleshooting, strong customer service, and coordination with external support teams.

Qualifications include 2+ years of corporate Help Desk/Hardware experience, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and A+ (HP) certifications. Shift: M-F, on-site with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of corporate Help Desk/Hardware experience.
• A+ and HP certifications are preferred.
• Solid understanding of PC components and interfaces.
• Ability to install and test new PC systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair desktop PCs, laptops, printers, monitors, and peripherals.
• Perform regular system maintenance and inventory management.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware issues and replace failing parts.
• Escalate unresolved hardware issues and document the process.
• Interact with users and external support teams for hardware/software maintenance.
• Lead or participate in special IT projects as needed.
