Job summary

Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) is seeking an Information Technology Subject Matter Expert to support an enterprise-level program in a federal environment. The role requires deep DoD storage, backup, and disaster recovery expertise, plus leadership of technical teams across cross-functional groups.

You will design and implement risk assessment and business continuity frameworks, oversee enterprise storage, and provide technical support for enterprise applications and automation

Qualifications

• Extensive storage & backup design across SAN/NAS/Object storage.
• Cloud storage & backup with AWS/Azure/OCI and certs.
• DoD IT systems experience (5+ years).
• Storage architecture, DR, and topology design.
• Storage networking including Fibre Channel/iSCSI/NFS/SMB.
• Cybersecurity & risk mitigation, DISA STIGs/IAVAs knowledge.
• Lead storage/data-protection projects and teams.
• Troubleshoot complex storage issues and optimize performance.
• Automation scripting for storage/backup (PowerShell/Python/Bash).
• Windows and RHEL storage management, including backups to Oracle/SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement risk assessment and continuity frameworks.
• Provide technical expertise for enterprise applications and multisystem infrastructures.
• Plan system installations, upgrades, and data migrations.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enterprise solutions.
• Lead and mentor technical teams on storage and backup projects.
• Develop DR runbooks, job guides, and technical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with government customers and internal teams.
