Job summary

Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) seeks a System Engineer to support an enterprise-level program in a federal setting. The role focuses on provisioning, configuring, and maintaining on-premises and cloud infrastructure with emphasis on storage, backup, and disaster recovery.

The engineer will monitor performance, plan capacity, document DR failovers, and ensure high availability of critical systems. Familiarity with Cohesity NetBackup, AWS, Azure, and OCI backup services is expected.

Qualifications

Five (5) years of overall professional experience in the engineering field, including storage and backup software.
Three (3) years of hands-on experience managing hybrid storage infrastructure (Azure and/or AWS).
Two (2) years hands-on experience with enterprise SAN management: FC zoning, iSCSI, FCoE, HBA/CNA, RAID, NAS; familiar with backups/services like Cohesity, AWS, Azure, OCI.
DOD 8140 baseline certification - IAT Level II and Approved System/ Cloud Engineer certification are required.

Responsibilities

Provision, configure, operate, and maintain on-premises and cloud infrastructure with focus on storage, backup, and DR.
Plan, implement, troubleshoot, and document DR failovers and maintain high availability for critical apps.
Design, integrate, and manage storage arrays, fiber switches, file-sharing tech, and related components.
