Job summary

The USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service seeks a highly skilled IT specialist at the GS-14 level in Fort Collins, CO. You will design, develop, and integrate data pipelines, web and mobile applications, and AI-driven solutions using C#, Python, JavaScript, and Go, across cloud-native environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).

You will apply SDLC practices and CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub, or GitLab, and work with Postgres and SQL Server databases.

Qualifications

• Experience with design, development, and integration of ETL data engineering pipelines in a cloud-native environment (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Web/mobile application development and AI/ML capabilities using C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, React, Go and SQL.
• Experience with frameworks such as .NET/.NET Core/.NET Maui and Django.
• Utilizing SDLC processes and industry best practices, including CI/CD with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and GitLab.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL Server databases.
