Join a mission-driven, technology-focused environment where reliable IT systems empower teams to work efficiently and securely. As a Senior IT Specialist, you will serve as a key point of contact for internal technical support, resolving issues across hardware, software, networking, and enterprise applications. You will help maintain a seamless employee experience in a distributed, remote-first organization while supporting essential IT infrastructure and security practices. From managing user access and employee onboarding to optimizing endpoint management tools, your work will contribute directly to business continuity. You will collaborate with Security, Engineering, and Operations teams to strengthen systems, streamline processes, and improve service delivery. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of technical challenges and drive continuous improvements as the organization grows.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will deliver responsive technical support, maintain reliable IT systems, and help ensure that employees have the tools and access they need to work securely and effectively.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network connectivity, and enterprise application issues.
  • Triage and manage incoming IT support tickets, prioritizing requests and escalating complex issues to the appropriate teams.
  • Install, configure, and maintain employee computers, peripherals, and software.
  • Manage IT onboarding and offboarding, including user provisioning, hardware configuration, and software deployment.
  • Administer user accounts, access permissions, and role-based access controls across internal systems and applications.
  • Follow up with employees to confirm that issues are resolved and maintain a high standard of end-user satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Security, Engineering, and Operations teams to maintain secure, compliant systems aligned with organizational policies.
  • Implement and manage endpoint management solutions, including Intune and Jamf, to monitor device health and compliance.
  • Administer identity and access management tools, including Okta.
  • Maintain IT documentation, update internal knowledge resources, and identify opportunities to improve support processes.
  • Support meeting room technology and audiovisual systems while contributing to IT improvement initiatives and automation projects.
Requirements

The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical expertise with a proactive, service-oriented approach. You should be comfortable working independently in a distributed environment, managing competing priorities, and collaborating with colleagues across teams and locations.

  • 4–6 years of experience in an IT or SaaS environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, networking fundamentals, and SaaS applications.
  • Practical experience with identity and access management tools, particularly Okta.
  • Hands‑on experience with endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune and Jamf.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, networking, and enterprise applications in distributed environments.
  • Familiarity with IT onboarding and offboarding, user provisioning, device configuration, and asset setup.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong customer service skills and a commitment to delivering a positive employee support experience.
  • A proactive mindset, adaptability, and an interest in continuous process improvement.
  • Attention to detail and accountability when managing systems, documentation, access controls, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices and infrastructure as code is a plus.
Benefits
  • Salary: $104,000–$150,000 annually, with final compensation based on location, role scope, complexity, and relevant experience and expertise.
  • Equity: Equity compensation offered.
  • Bonus: Performance‑related bonus opportunities offered.
  • Healthcare: Medical, dental, and vision coverage for eligible full‑time employees in the United States.
  • Retirement: 401(k) benefits.
  • Time off: Generous vacation allowance.
  • Work flexibility: Remote‑first working environment.
  • Team environment: Opportunity to collaborate with an international team across the United States and Europe.
  • Meaningful impact: Contribute to a mission‑driven organization focused on using technology to improve healthcare outcomes.
