Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking a Solution Lead to drive end-to-end IT solutions that meet business needs. You will guide cross‑functional teams, ensure robust architecture, and oversee delivery lifecycle from conception to deployment.

This role emphasizes stakeholder collaboration, operational stability, and continuous improvement through Lean and Agile practices. Hybrid work options are available with location expectations based on role.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Science, Business or related field, or 4 years of experience.
Seven years of related functional experience.
Experience with project or product delivery practices, including SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall.
Demonstrated ability to recommend innovative solutions to meet business needs.
Ability to drive continuous improvement through lean and agile practices.

Responsibilities

Relationship Management: Partner with business areas, customers and other stakeholders to understand business needs and opportunities.
Solution Delivery: Lead and support delivery lifecycle activities and ensure solutions are designed for great user experience and operational performance.
Operations Management: Ensure solutions are designed for stable operation and minimize impacts on service.
Subject Matter Expertise: Stay abreast of industry and technology trends to improve delivery practices and customer satisfaction.
