Job summary

Anew Solutions (Anew Transport) is seeking a Senior IT Solutions Engineer to serve as the Tier 2/3 technical expert, resolving complex IT issues and guiding technology leadership and business stakeholders. You will manage core infrastructure, cloud environments, and identity systems while mentoring junior staff to improve IT processes.

You will design and optimize networks, endpoints, and security controls, oversee patching and compliance, and ensure systems remain secure and scalable to support

Qualifications

• Experience in advanced tech support and escalation management.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and Google Workspace.
• Experience with identity and endpoint management systems.
• Familiarity with ITIL-aligned processes and incident management.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and guide project work.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex IT issues as Tier 2/3 expert to keep systems secure, reliable, and scalable.
• Mentor Tier 1 staff and interns with hands-on guidance and reviews.
• Design, maintain, and optimize networks, endpoints, identity systems, and cloud environments.
• Manage patching, compliance, and configuration baselines for all devices.
• Monitor system performance, logs, and alerts to pre-empt incidents.
• Lead incident response activities including root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
• Collaborate with vendors for specialized support when needed.
• Develop and improve internal IT processes and automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, RMM).
