Job summary

EWE Go GmbH is seeking an IT Solution Architect to own the hybrid Charge Point Management System architecture and drive cloud-native solutions at scale. You will guide architectural work, design integrations with partners, and establish SDLC guardrails to ensure reliable delivery.

Qualified candidates have 7+ years in tech roles, 3+ years in architecture, strong AWS experience, TypeScript/Node.js/Nest.js/React, and German + English fluency (B2). Remote-friendly options in Germany are available.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical roles, including 3+ years as IT Solution Architect or Technical Lead.
• Strong collaboration with Product Owners, DevOps Engineers, and stakeholders.
• Experience with distributed systems, event-driven microservices, DDD, multi-tenancy, and API-first design.
• Hands-on with TypeScript, Node.js, Nest.js, React; IaC with Terraform.
• Cloud-native architectures in AWS.
• Familiarity with e-mobility protocols OCPP, OCPI, OICP is a plus.
• Professional German and English fluency (B2).

Responsibilities

• Own the Charge Point Management System (CPMS) architecture end-to-end.
• Plan architecture at the CPMS system level and ensure alignment with standards.
• Design and implement system integrations with internal and third-party platforms.
• Define architecture guardrails and SDLC practices for efficient development.
• Partner with DevOps to improve reliability, monitoring, and incident response.
• Translate technical decisions into clear documentation for stakeholders.
• Maintain up-to-date architectural documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing.
