Job summary
Xcel Energy has a Sr IT Solution Analyst (DBA) role in downtown Minneapolis, MN. You will primarily support database environments for Energy Services, including Distribution, Transmission and Nuclear areas, driving value and reliability.
The role partners with application support teams to analyze, deliver, and operate IT solutions, owning documentation and lifecycle planning to meet changing business needs in a hybrid work setting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience.
- 5+ years in IT, with DBA or database administration exposure.
- Experience with SDLC, Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement in IT solutions.
Responsibilities
- SQLServer and Oracle database administration including backups, recovery and tuning.
- Lead analysis and delivery of IT solutions and roadmap activities.
- Collaborate with partners to ensure secure, compliant solutions.
- Participate in lifecycle activities, upgrades, and deployments.
- Maintain documentation and communicate outcomes to stakeholders.
