Job summary

Burnett Specialists in Houston, TX seeks an experienced IT Contract Specialist III to manage complex software agreements onsite. This long-term contract role involves end-to-end contract work, from review to renewal, in close collaboration with Legal, Cybersecurity, Finance, and IT teams.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years negotiating enterprise software licenses, SaaS and cloud agreements, and proven ability to drive risk assessment and compliance, while leading RFP/RFI processes and vendor

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; law or business background preferred.
Minimum 8 years negotiating and redlining IT software contracts.
Experience with enterprise software licensing, SaaS, and cloud agreements.
Ability to independently negotiate and execute complex agreements.

Responsibilities

Lead the full contract lifecycle for IT software agreements.
Negotiate software, SaaS, cloud licensing, Master Agreements, SOWs, NDAs and POCs.
Identify risks, perform due diligence, ensure licensing compliance.
Collaborate with Legal, Cybersecurity, Finance and IT teams.
Manage RFP/RFI processes and multiple contracts concurrently.
Support vendor negotiations and cost optimization.
