Job summary

AGE Solutions seeks an experienced IT SME – Enterprise Storage & Backup to support a DoD customer. You will provide senior technical leadership for storage, backup, and data protection across on‑prem and cloud environments, including NetApp, Pure Storage, Cohesity, and NetBackup.

You will design and sustain DR/BC solutions, support Windows and Linux platforms, and drive automation using PowerShell, Python, and Bash. A DoD Top Secret clearance and advisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Five years managing enterprise SAN environments and backup/restore tech.
• Two years advisory/managerial DoD or Federal infra experience.
• Experience designing, deploying, and managing storage arrays and DR/BC solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level leadership for storage, backup, and data protection infrastructure.
• Design, deploy, and sustain enterprise storage, SAN/NAS, and backup solutions.
• Develop and maintain DR and BC plans; support cloud storage across AWS, Azure, OCI.
• Lead automation and IaC integrations for provisioning and data protection workflows.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate cross-team activities with government, contractor, and vendor partners.
