Specialty1 Partners seeks an IT Server Engineer to design, deploy, maintain, and optimize server infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments for our dental practices.

You will lead Hyper‑V administration, cloud migrations (Azure/AWS), and automation through PowerShell. The role emphasizes reliability, security, and collaboration with network and security teams to align with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT.
• 8+ years IT experience with data center and virtualization.
• Expert knowledge of virtualization technologies and server admin.
• Experience with Microsoft OS, Citrix, VMware, Unix/Linux.
• PowerShell scripting and backup/DR experience.
• Knowledge of security best practices and HIPAA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain server infrastructure on‑premises and in the cloud.
• Lead Hyper‑V administration and cloud migration initiatives.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and security controls.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline provisioning and patching.
• Collaborate with network and security teams to meet standards.
