OCDC in Oregon seeks an IT Security Administrator to plan, implement, monitor, and improve security across data, networks, devices, and endpoints. The role applies best practices, manages risk assessments, and drives security projects from scope to change management.

You will collaborate with managers, staff, and vendors to enforce access controls, configure security systems, and deliver training on secure technologies while ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong understanding of computer security systems, cybersecurity practices, and risk assessment.

Responsabilidades

• Reviews security systems, network controls, and access configurations to identify improvements.
• Monitors network traffic and security software reports for suspicious behavior; investigates issues and mitigates threats.
• Collaborates with managers, staff, vendors, and stakeholders on data access needs and security education.
• Develops, updates, implements, and maintains security protocols, policies, and roles.
• Implements plans to safeguard data and systems against unauthorized access or data loss.
• Configures and administers security systems (firewalls, antivirus, authentication controls, encryption).
• Performs risk assessments, audits, and tests to validate controls and compliance.
• Develops and tests disaster recovery and backup plans.
