Job summary

Bullhorn, Inc. in Massachusetts seeks a Principal IT Security Project Manager to lead enterprise security initiatives and programs from planning through completion. You will report to the CISO within the Information Security vertical, coordinating with executives and engineers to secure scalable SaaS environments.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in IT project management with cybersecurity focus, a PMP, and a CISSP/CISM/CRISC credential, plus strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years IT project management experience, with at least 5 years focused on cybersecurity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Business, or related field.
• PMP and a security credential such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.
• Deep understanding of network security, endpoint protection, threat intelligence, and security frameworks.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Excellent verbal and written communication translating security risks into business terms.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with executives and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Direct large-scale cross-functional security projects and programs.
• Identify risks, track vulnerabilities, and craft mitigation plans.
• Communicate progress, budgets, and metrics to leadership and teams.
• Manage solution planning calls, workloads, and budgets.
• Ensure milestones align with regulatory standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
