National Audubon Society is seeking a Senior Manager, IT Security Operations to safeguard our systems and information assets. You will lead incident response, manage security tools, and guide policy compliance within a hybrid work model across U.S. offices.

The role requires strong cybersecurity expertise, collaboration with senior IT leadership, and the ability to coordinate multi-site security operations while aligning with Audubon’s mission and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of IT operations experience with progressive cybersecurity responsibilities in a corporate or nonprofit environment.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and best practices.
• Proficiency in administering security tools and systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Identity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Security Incident Response with CTO and IT leadership.
• Monitor and respond to security alerts according to service level agreements.
• Investigate, analyze, document security incidents, and implement countermeasures.
