Job summary

The City of Philadelphia's Department of Public Health seeks an IT Security Operations Administrator to safeguard DPH computer systems, servers, and networks. You will monitor logs, manage virus scans, investigate breaches, and coordinate with OIT and Health IT to strengthen security operations.

You'll lead security initiatives, respond to audits, and document processes, while promoting a customer‑oriented approach to protect data and ensure continuity of services across DPH.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and IT security experience preferred.
• GIAC or CISSP certifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of information security concepts and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and secure DPH computer systems, servers, and network connections.
• Monitor logs, run virus scans, and troubleshoot security issues.
• Lead security projects and respond to audits and findings.
