Job summary

Arista Networks seeks a Senior Manager - IT Security to lead our IT security organization in Raleigh, driving the strategy that protects our data and systems. You will collaborate with the CISO team and senior leaders to align security initiatives with business goals and regulatory requirements.

You will mentor and develop the security team, oversee critical tooling like firewalls, IDS, vulnerability scanners, and SIEM, and report on KPIs and risk metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field preferred.
• AT least 15 years in IT security with 5+ in leadership roles.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing security strategies.
• Strong understanding of security technologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with incident response and management.
• Familiarity with security standards, regulations, and policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership to the IT security team.
• Develop and execute the organization's cybersecurity strategy.
• Identify risks, develop mitigations, and implement controls.
• Oversee security technologies including firewalls, IDS, vulnerability scanners, and SIEM.
• Lead incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulatory requirements.
