Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with focused IT background.
• Five years of progressive IT experience, with at least two in cybersecurity/ security administration.
• Minimum two years in technical lead or IT leadership roles.
• Experience supporting enterprise networking, servers, cloud services, or infrastructure operations.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and security controls.
• Experience coordinating technical projects and leading IT professionals.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Cybersecurity Operations: monitor alerts, investigate activity, administer security controls across endpoints/information systems.
• Security Platforms: support Defender, Entra ID, Intune, Conditional Access, security logging, and related tools; implement improvements.
• GLBA & Risk Management: support information security program, GLBA assessments, POA&M, audit evidence, corrective actions.
• Infrastructure Leadership: coordinate activities across Networking, Cloud Systems, Systems Administration; provide guidance.
• Infrastructure Security: review changes, coordinate hardening, access controls, and security remediations.
• Vulnerability Management: identify/prioritize vulnerabilities; coordinate remediation with teams.
• Incident Response: assist with investigation, containment, recovery, documentation, follow-up.
• Business Continuity: support DR planning, backup security reviews, testing, resilience improvements.
• Technical Projects: lead infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives; track progress and risks.
• Documentation & Reporting: maintain standards, procedures, updates on risks/incidents/projects.
• Collaboration: work with IT staff, departments, vendors, and assessors.
• Technical Leadership Scope: provide leadership without direct supervision; HR matters handled by Exec Dir IT.
