Job summary

Profiles is seeking a Security Engineer in St. Louis, MO for a full-time, on-site role. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage security systems, including DLP, SIEM, UEBA, and data protection platforms, while leading incident response and forensics activities.

Candidates should have 7+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years in information security, plus hands-on skills in PowerShell, DevSecOps, penetration testing, and risk management to safeguard enterprise networks.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years in information security.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Security, Azure, and on-premises Active Directory.
• Strong knowledge of PowerShell, RegEx, software development, and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience with penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, risk profiling, and proactive risk mitigation.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, security incident response, forensics, troubleshooting, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, manage, and improve security systems including DLP, SIEM, UEBA, endpoint protection, and data security platforms.
• Conduct security audits, threat assessments, vulnerability assessments, and risk evaluations with improvements.
• Develop security monitoring and visibility capabilities and provide leadership for incident detection, response, investigation, and forensics.
• Analyze and report on security incidents, vulnerabilities, investigations, trends, and emerging threats.
• Provide security support and training while participating in an on-call rotation for critical incidents and after-hours support.
