Job summary

Gentherm is seeking a Senior IT Information Security Architect to lead security architecture across its global tech landscape. You will define secure-by-design standards, reference architectures, and practical requirements for cloud, identity, network, and data protection.

You will partner with multiple teams to reduce cyber risk while enabling business transformation. You will serve as a senior SME for security design reviews, Zero Trust, and compliance with NIST, ISO, GDPR, and other

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information security/IT.
• 8+ years IT/cybersecurity, 5+ years in security architecture/engineering.
• Experience designing controls in large, global environments.
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001/27002, SOC 2, GDPR, and related standards.
• Hands-on IAM, SSO, MFA, PAM, cloud security, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise security architecture and standards.
• Lead security architecture reviews and risk assessments.
• Ensure alignment with SOX, ISO, NIST, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security into roadmaps.
• Provide leadership during incidents and risk remediation.
