Job summary

Tutor seeks a senior engineer to own the IT and security infrastructure inside customer facilities. You will manage the network, identity, and SOC 2 program, coordinating with customers’ IT and security teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in networking and security with production systems.
• Hands-on Linux networking: routing, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls.
• Experience running a SOC 2 or ISO 27001 program.
• Experience with enterprise IT/security teams and security questionnaires.
• Identity and device management: SSO, MDM, access reviews.
• Infrastructure as code: Terraform or similar.
• Comfort with AI coding agents and verification.

Responsibilities

• Own the network and office mesh and client site integrations.
• Work with customer IT/security on questionnaires and design reviews.
• Own SOC 2 program, automate evidence, and keep policies current.
• Manage security incidents and vulnerability disclosures.
• Run corporate IT through policy and automation (SSO, device mgmt).
• Set up interrupt routing for outages.
• Review changes to shared infra touching secrets or network.
