Program Summary

KBR is looking for a motivated, energetic, and experienced Cybersecurity Professional with Assessment and Authorization (A&A) and hands-on Cybersecurity Operational experience to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will join a team to initiate and complete complex cybersecurity requirements of multiple systems in the DoD environment. The candidate must be capable of completing assessment and authorization application packages and be dedicated to our customers' success. Responsibilities include maintaining cybersecurity posture, conducting annual security reviews, and testing cybersecurity controls. The main work location will be Tinker AFB, with some remote days possible, and the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance is required.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Provide technical security guidance throughout all phases of system accreditation requirements, ensuring coordination and communication across all activities.
2. Assist in analyzing operations and system architecture products.
3. Perform verification and validation testing, and provide guidance on risk mitigation.
4. Conduct risk and vulnerability analysis, manage cybersecurity vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance and reporting.
5. Handle security assessments, reporting, cybersecurity control analysis, mitigation, and A&A compliance documentation.

Basic Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in a technical discipline and at least five (5) years of related work experience.
• IAM Level 1 Certification.
• Experience preparing Certification and Accreditation packages following the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.
• Must hold at least one of the following certifications: SEC+ CE, CAP, CND, GSLC.
• Knowledge of standalone, closed-loop, platform IT, Platform IT with interconnection, and DoD/DISA networks.
• Experience implementing cybersecurity processes, providing guidance, and developing documentation throughout the system development life cycle.
• Ability to assess current security state, security controls, and support cybersecurity and ATO documentation.
• Effective communication skills with system engineers, administrators, developers, and operational users.
• Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications

• USAF/Military/FAA aviation background.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field with at least two (2) years of related experience.
• CISSP or equivalent certification.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 Rev Security and Privacy Controls.
• Experience developing and implementing security programs and policies, and monitoring compliance.
• Experience collaborating with security managers and defining security strategies.
• Experience validating system security requirements and establishing security designs.
• Experience with security tools such as ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), Microsoft Defender, ACAS, eMass, or similar.
• CISCO ASA5512, Cisco Switches/Routers experience.
• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
