Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. in Davidson, NC seeks a Senior IT Functional Analyst, Sales to drive the integration of sales applications with enterprise systems, supporting end-to-end processes for accounts, territories, sales and commissions.

You will partner with business users and IT to design, test and implement solutions, using SAP Sales software, data migration and data analysis to deliver accurate data flows and timely insights. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience in related field.
• 2+ years of experience in SAP sales software.
• 3+ years of data migration and systems/platform integration.
• 3+ years of data analysis experience.
• 5+ years of SDLC experience.
• Highly proficient in SQL queries and Excel.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of compensation process flows and business rule logic.
• Effective communicator with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Skilled in documenting technical workflows and solutions.
• Detail-oriented with commitment to data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Build and foster relationships with business users and stakeholders around Sales processes and SAP platforms.
• Serve as a subject matter expert to ensure projects are delivered on time and with high quality.
• Analyze business processes to provide solutions that enhance capabilities and efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into functional/integration designs.
• Define integration/technical requirements with IT teams.
• Own end-to-end data flows into/out of sales and commissions apps.
• Document integration designs and data mappings.
• Monitor integration jobs, troubleshoot failures, and ensure data accuracy.
• Support testing, release management, and QA activities with teams.
• Contribute to MSC culture and participate in special projects.
