Job summary

Columbus McKinnon Corporation is seeking a Senior Business Analyst – SAP S4/Hana Supply Chain Management to join the IS team in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on reviewing, analyzing, planning, and implementing business systems while aligning with business needs and security requirements.

The candidate will work across IT, operations, and external partners, delivering solutions, documenting processes, and providing end-user training and support. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years’ experience with SAP in Materials Management and Production Planning.
• Strong understanding of MM & PP in SAP S4/Hana and integration with other SAP modules.
• Ability to travel ~10% domestically and internationally.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates user requests to determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility, and impact.
• Consults with users to identify current procedures and clarify objectives.
• Reads manuals and reports to learn ways to develop programs meeting requirements.
• Develops plans, flowcharts, and diagrams to describe logical operations.
• Prepares system specifications and documentation to enable programming.
• Writes documentation detailing development, logic, and corrections.
• Provides guidance and training to end users to support adoption.
• Collaborates with IT, operations, and external partners to ensure delivery.
• Troubleshoots system issues and provides ongoing support.
