Cardinal Health is seeking a Senior Engineer, Information Security & Risk to lead IT SOX control design, remediation, and ongoing risk governance. You will partner with IT and business stakeholders to implement effective controls and support external audits.

In this role you will perform IT risk assessments, monitor control performance, and assist with M&A due diligence. The position offers bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits program.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years in IT SOX, IT audit, or IT compliance.
• Strong understanding of SOX; knowledge of HIPAA, GDPR, PCI is a plus.
• Ability to educate IT stakeholders on IT controls and compliance.
• Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of IT networks, databases, middleware, and ERP controls (SAP preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Design and remediate IT controls to meet SOX goals.
• Perform IT risk assessments for pilot areas.
• Collaborate with IT stakeholders to craft effective controls.
• Monitor and evaluate control performance.
• Support due diligence in M&A activities.
• Assist with third-party certification reviews (SOC1/2).
• Coordinate with internal/external audits on scope and strategy.
• Track remediation through IT risk governance process.
• Manage junior staff and contractors.
• Support budgeting for compliance workstream and report budget overruns.
