Cardinal Health is seeking a Senior Engineer, Information Security & Risk to define and implement IT SOX controls and drive risk-based improvements. You will partner with IT and business leaders to ensure controls support regulatory requirements and corporate governance.

The role focuses on control design, remediation, and continuous process enhancement across IT systems, including ERP environments. Strong risk judgment and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of IT SOX control and audit experience preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, PCI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and remediate IT controls for SOX compliance.
• Perform IT risk assessments and identify control gaps.
• Collaborate with IT stakeholders to implement effective controls.
• Monitor and evaluate IT controls for ongoing effectiveness.
• Support due diligence in M&A activities and third-party certifications (SOC1/2).
• Coordinate with internal/external audits on SOX scope and strategy.
