Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Senior Engineer, Information Security & Risk to define, implement, and evaluate IT SOX controls. The role partners with business and IT leaders to drive risk management and continuous control improvements.

You will lead design and remediation efforts, monitor control effectiveness, and support audits and due diligence for M&A activities. A strong IT security background and SOX expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of IT SOX control and audit/IT compliance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of SOX, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI and related frameworks a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and evaluate IT SOX controls across the organization.
• Perform IT risk assessments and identify control gaps for remediation.
• Design effective IT controls with IT stakeholders to support SOX goals.
