Job summary

State of Washington Dept. of Labor & Industries is seeking an experienced IT QA specialist to lead testing across enterprise IT projects. You will design scalable testing strategies, develop manual and automated scripts, and drive quality across functional and non-functional areas.

You will mentor a Software Testing Community of Practice, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure delivery of reliable software that serves Washington residents and state agencies.

Qualifications

• Eight years of qualifying professional IT experience in a professional IT environment.
• Bachelor's or higher in IT/CS/Business Administration with four years of IT experience or Associate’s with six years of IT experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish, standardize, and administer testing methodologies and processes.
• Design and develop manual and automated test scripts.
• Develop test plans and test cases mapped to requirements.
• Lead regression, functional, integration, performance, and UAT testing.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to improve test coverage.
