Job summary

Mondo in Boston, MA is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager for a 12‑month contract. Hybrid onsite, 3 days per week; local residency required.

You will lead planning, execution, and delivery of large IT programs, coordinating with cross‑functional teams and executive sponsors to meet scope, schedule, and budget.

Required: 8–10 years of IT project management experience, hands‑on Workday Finance & HR, and proficiency with PM tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, ServiceNow); PMP or similar is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in IT project management on large, cross-functional programs.
• Hands-on Workday Finance and Workday HR (HCM) experience.
• 5+ years translating business needs into actionable project plans with executives.
• Experience delivering enterprise tech projects (CRM/ERP/infrastructure/data integration/cloud).
• Expert in Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid methodologies.
• Proficient with PM tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, Jira).

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of large IT projects across departments, aligning with strategic priorities.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, milestones, scope, budgets, timelines, and resources.
• Serve as liaison between technical teams, business units, and executive sponsors; communicate objectives and progress.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement proactive mitigation to stay on scope, schedule, and budget.
• Track and report project progress, milestones, risks, issues, and financials to governance groups.
• Foster a collaborative environment and drive accountability across staff and vendors.
• Ensure post-project evaluation and knowledge capture for continuous improvement.
