Job summary

Texas State Technical College is seeking a Manager of IT Project Management to lead the IT PMO, set governance standards, and align technology initiatives with college priorities.

You will partner with IT leadership and campus stakeholders to ensure delivery excellence across enterprise software, cloud, analytics, and cybersecurity, while mentoring a growing team and driving change across a multi-campus environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, MIS, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience managing enterprise technology projects, programs, or project portfolios.
• 2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or significant team lead experience with responsibility for coaching and mentoring project professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership to the IT Project Management team and set performance expectations.
• Establish and refine IT project management standards, templates, and performance metrics.
• Oversee end-to-end execution of complex, cross-functional technology initiatives across enterprise software, cloud, and security domains.
• Collaborate with IT leadership and stakeholders to manage scope, resources, schedules, risks, and change.
