Job summary

Yavapai County Information Technology Services is seeking a Project Manager/ITS Specialist V to join our team in Prescott. The role plans, coordinates and manages complex IT projects through their lifecycle, translating user needs into detailed requirements and feasible technical solutions.

The candidate will oversee daily tasks, ensure system availability, troubleshoot high-level issues, and develop procedures for server and Active Directory management. Onsite, no remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or closely related field.
• Minimum seven years of experience in information technology or related field.
• Experience planning, coordinating and managing complex projects through lifecycle.
• Identify users' needs, gather detailed requirements and analyze project feasibility.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily tasks and provide technical oversight for timely team responsiveness.
• Ensure systems and resources availability.
• Resolve highly technical issues impacting server, backend applications, security, and user experience.
• Develop procedures and provide training for server and Active Directory management.
• Maintain enterprise system availability of centralized and internet-based resources.
• Respond to service calls with level III expertise and ensure timely resolution.
• Create project deliverables such as requirements documents, statements of work, test plans, and diagrams.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions and recommend software systems.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise systems.
• Prepare test plans and data; maintain customer and internal documentation.
